Join Ronald Bude, MD, Professor Emeritus at the University of Michigan, for this week’s Long Table. The historical record is almost bereft of any mention of Eadberht. The Portable Antiquities Scheme database of metal-detector finds records a fairly large corpus of his coins, and reveals a plethora of varieties and types. This presentation attempts to make some sense of his output.
