CITY OF MEXICO ARMY OF OCCUPATION: Maltese cross with three rays between each arm of the cross. The arms are rimmed with gold while the inner portion is white enamel. At the center of the cross is a circle containing the image of an eagle battling a snake.

AZTEC CLUB U.S. ARMY 1847: same as above except with blue enamel and the image is of an eagle atop a shield.
