  • Congo spear money, or liganda; see Quinnin, Primitive Money, p. 64; they were supposed to weigh 4 1/2 pounds, and measure 5 feet 6 inches, but ours weighs much less, namely 2 1/3 pounds; proper ones were worth between half a crown and a crown English, or between 2.5 and 5 francs
