Description
Mint name identified by Martha Carter. Obverse die is much like Goebl 1200, attributed to the Ctesiphon mint. Reverse is from
die of Hormizd recut; see Cribb, Studia Iranica 19 (1990), 166 and plate 6, 62 & 63. This ANS coin should therefore be dated
early in Shapur's reign, just after 309.
