Find coins struck in places on the map

By moving an zooming the map above it is possible to identify the geographic locations of individual production centers (mints). Clicking on these mints will provide at the foot of the page, a list of coins in the ANS database struck at that location.

Faceted Searches displayed in map form

It is also possible to conduct a faceted search of the collection and to display the results in the form of locations of production matching the search terms. These faceted searches can be constructed using the drop down lists appearing immediately beneath the map. For example, selecting the ‘Deity’ Achelous will display on the map those locations where coins depicting that god were struck.
