Descripción
The coin in Rouvier is dated to BLF, or 532 in the Seleucid era. This translates to October 220 to September 221 CE. Alexander
Severus was adopted by Elagabalus in June of 221 so that a coin bearing BLF must date June of 221 to October of 221. Severus
became Augustus in March of 222 following the murder of Elagabalus. 2002.21.8, struck for Alexander as Caesar and dated to
Seleucid era 533, must therefore have been struck between October of 221 and March of 222.
