This posthumous tribute to Charlotte May Buffet Smith (1871-1906) by her husband, the botanist Erwin Frink Smith (1854-1927) was struck in 1910. It was followed in 1915 by his book of poetry and biography, For Her Friends and Mine: A Book of Aspirations, Dreams, and Memories.
