ANS Lyceum

The ANS Lyceum is a new online educational offering from the American Numismatic Society. Over the course of several weeks, participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive lectures and discussion sessions with ANS curators who will introduce the numismatic objects, economic history, and cultures of people from around the world and from different periods of history. The ANS Lyceum is open to all with no prior knowledge of numismatics or history required or expected. Full Press Release.

IMPORTANT: Registration for the first course of the ANS Lyceum is now closed! Fill out the form here to be included on the wait list and receive updates on future courses of the ANS Lyceum. The second offering from ANS Lyceum will be on Roman coinage, taught by Assistant Curator Lucia Carbone and Executive Director Gilles Bransbourg, beginning late May 2021. Stay tuned!
