The curatorial department is responsible for the care, organization, and study of one of the largest and most important numismatic collections in the world. The staff are also actively engaged in scholarly publication and lecturing, teaching in the ANS’s education programs and at local universities, and in the exhibition of items from the collection. For information about exhibiting or publishing ANS material, please contact the Collections Manager, Dr. Elena Stolyarik. The collection is available for study to visiting researchers upon request.
Over half of the collection has been photographed and is available online via the MANTIS search tool.
