Description

This medal is a 19th-century cast copy of the late 18th century restrike of the early 18th century medal commemorating final disbandment of the Strelitz guard. The original dies were completed by Philip Heinrich Mueller and then copied by Samoila Yudin and other die-cutters active at St. Petersburg Mint throught the 18th and 19th centuries.
