Biographical Note

Édouard Van Hende (1819-) was a French historian and numismatist whose work focused on the city of Lille. He authored works such as “Histoire de Lille de 620 à 1804” and “Numismatique Lilloise”.

Félix-Bienaimé Feuardent (1819-1907) was a dealer in coins, antiquities, and numismatic books. He and his business partner Charles Louis Rollin had shops in both Paris and London.
