Handwritten and typewritten lists describing French art medals from the Paris Mint by such medalists as Roty, Dubois, Chaplain, Bory, Chapu and others. Also, a list of Gorham Company collection of plaster bas reliefs depicting notable French statesmen, writers, royalty, scientists, etc. Also included are typewritten lists of plaster bas-reliefs of famous persons and their birth and death dates from other countries, including Germany, Holland, and Greece. Lists appear to have been compiled circa late 19th or early 20th century. Also in the folder is a page describing lots 223-228 of property from the corporate collection of Lenox/Gorham in the Christie’s 2006 auction of 19th century furniture, sculpture, works of art, and ceramics.
