Scrapbook of clippings containing mostly the columns “Gleanings of Coins” by Augustus B. Sage that appeared in the New York Dispatch newspaper (1857). There are also clippings from the New York Daily Tribune and New York Times regarding early meetings of the American Numismatic Society (1858); others relating to the poem “Humanity” from the publication The Criminal Life (1864); and several more, including one on the presentation of a gold medal to Cyrus W. Field (1858).
